June has begun, and for me, this month is very important-it's the month of my birthday, and my mother's birthday. This month, my sister is doing her final school exams. This month is the Summer Solstice.
But most importantly, for me, this month is a new dawn.
There's something that I've been dragging around in my head, long after I should've laid it to rest. I meant to in the New year, but it's still remained. I suppose I just kept looking to the past, living in a memory.
But now, I'm going to let the past die. I'm going to live in the present. This month is going to be a month of change for me. I've discovered so many new things, and I can't wait to look at them again! Films, comics, books, television, drawings, Youtube-it's all there, waiting to be seen.
I'm going into this month with my head held high, my chin up, my shoulders back, and my weapon ready. I'm going to rise above the gloom in my mind, and beat it seven ways till Sunday.
But most of all, I think I'll have some tea and stroke the cat. Read more Terry Pratchett (I am powering through his books now). Draw random things. Do something BIG.
So, I think it's time for me to say, Let's get cracking.
